The Boys’ and Girls’ track teams will be hosting the Winter Fest dance January 25th from 8-11 pm. Tickets are on sale now during all 3 lunch shifts through January 17th. Cost will be $5 for singles and $8 for couples. Anyone bringing a guest from another school must have a form filled out prior to the day of the dance. Any questions can be directed to Coach Furey.

The Art Club is coming back! Visit the Art Room January 24th during Advisory. It is a student run club. More information will be available at the 1st meeting.

Students that plan on getting a drivers permit or license while we are off from school on January 16th and 17th need to fill out the Proof of Enrollment form before Wednesday, January 15th.

Students interested in Jazz Band should plan to attend our first rehearsal on Wednesday, January 22 from 3:30-4:30.

Students interested in Winter Colorguard should plan to attend our first rehearsal on Thursday, January 23 from 3:30-5pm. Please see Mrs. Warrick in the band room for more details.

Attention Juniors: If you are interested in attending Governor’s Honor’s Academy, please see a counselor for more information.

The Keyser boys bowling team won the actual points against Calvary Christian on Friday at Rainbow Lanes. Congratulations to Bryson Bush for bowling 60 pins over his average for a 162 game and also congratulations to Rennick Bess for bowling 50 points over his average for a 127 game. Claire Del Signore had the high game for the ladies with a score of 180.

Bowling practice on Tuesday, January 14th will be immediately after school at Rainbow Lanes.

The Keyser Wrestling Team wrestled in Fairmont on Friday and Saturday at the Winner’s Choice Tournament where 32 teams competed.

We had 6 wrestlers make it to the 2nd day:

Placing in the tournament were Aaron Lyons – 6th place

And Tristin Fox – 3rd place. Congratulations guys!!
