DESCRIPTION - ADDENDUM
POSITION: COORDINATOR/EXECUTIVE SECRETARY/ACCOUNTANT – SUPERINTENDENT’S OFFICE
In
addition to the Performance Responsibilities, Qualifications, Physical Demands,
and Work Environment contained in the Coordinator/Executive Secretary job
descriptions, the following are applicable:
PERFORMANCE
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Possesses knowledge of West Virginia Open Governmental Proceedings Act and West Virginia Ethics Commission;
• Prepares
and distributes Board meeting notification, correspondence, and agenda
materials;
• Attends
Board of Education meetings and records minutes;
• Creates
and maintains Official Minute Book;
• Publishes
Agendas and Minutes on Web-site;
• Collects
specific information/correspondence for Student Disciplinary Hearings;
• Maintains Board Policies – NEOLA;
• Schedules
and processes employee and citizen grievances;
• Serves
as administrator of SchoolMessenger (calling system);
• Serves
as administrator of SchoolStream (forms);
• Orders/maintains
supplies for county office;
• Processes
bulk mailings;
• Processes work permits/age certificates in accordance with laws of the WV Division of Labor, Child Labor Section;
• Arranges
all aspects for Senior Achievement Award Dinner;
• Arranges
travel reservations/direct bill for County Office Staff;
• Assists
with the arrangements for the SPOY/TOY/Retirement Dinners in cooperation with
Personnel Department;
• Maintains
and assists with SBA Grants/CEFP Annual Updates/Needs Projects/MIP Projects;
• Publishes
student handbooks for all schools;
• Designs
and maintains an inventory of NCR School Forms
• Maintains
County Office flower/coffee/retirement party fund;
• Works
cooperatively and effectively with school personnel and the general public;
• Writes letters for superintendent’s review based upon information provided;
• Processes FMLA/LOA requests in accordance with laws of U. S. Department of Labor and WV Division of Labor; and
• Performs
other tasks/duties as assigned by the Superintendent
