Dear Families, Last evening, we were informed of school violence threats being shared on social media which included listings of multiple schools across the state and region. Posts such as these aim to cause disruption to our schools and can create fear and angst among students and families. Please know all potential threats are taken seriously. We’ve been in contact with the Department of Homeland Security, The WV State Police, and local law enforcement. Based on information we’ve received, these threats have been discredited. It appears the post is similar to others being shared regionally and nationally. As an added safety measure, you will see an increased law enforcement presence at our schools tomorrow, the safety of our students and staff is our top priority.
